For other trims, assuming a disconnected front sway bar, does the offroad number increase if you swap higher fenders but don't lift?

With 3.73 gears I'm thinking about 34's and no lift if possible.
I would stay in the 34" tire range with 3.73. But 34" tires are hard to find, so maybe a small running 35" would work also, ie: BFG KO2

Welcome to the forum, this has been a well-answered question hence why some people get annoyed lol.

I also got a good deal on 37s and picked them up before my lift, you'll be fine on pavement. Depending on the offset of the rims you may have some rubbing so might need a few washer spacers to stop that.

If you boogy it over a bump while turning you will definitely hit, and for the love of god do not offroad on 37s with no lift. Your fenders will get yeet real quick.

A little reading on this forum will give you the answer. A lot of different answers. Maybe one you want. Probably a few you don't want.

^^ the fast answer.

If you want more travel and space.......well a lift or spacer kit will come into play

On OEM wheels? Yes you need something and you'll still probably rub at full lock.

34" tires are very popular and most brands make them, they are 285/75/r17's.

Well to get Technical, they are 33.8", which on the truck is nowhere near a 34". When someone say's they want to run 34" tires, they probably are not talking metric sizes. Or maybe they are, IDK. I would say a 315/70/17 would be more of a true 34" than a 285/75/17

315’s are 35’s and as you pointed out not true 35s when on the truck. Neither are 37s or 33s or 40s.

The answer your looking for, YES they will fit. Will they rub? Yes! Any type of off-road flexing, hard steering , reverse turning, they rub. We have tested it. They fit yes, do they fit proper, no.

As has already been answered, no need to lift if you just want to wear the shoes; but if you want to take a walk in the woods with them you will need to lift.

For perspective, here's my 2020 JTR with 37's and a 2.5" lift. Plenty of room to "get some" with 2.5" lift:

Nice pic! I have the same setup and it works great, Moab tested.

It did come across a touch agressive. But most importantly, we're a discussion forum, why are we opposed to discussion? Sure it's the same question asked a dozen times, but why is a new user any less entitled to ask the questions that someone else was entitled to ask before.

It's not like the search feature for this site is stellar. And if each question was only allowed to be asked once, this would be a quiet place.

to @Rjfromichigan, here's a beautiful chart i made all by myself:

If you're getting a good deal on 37s and considering a lift be certain to consider backspace, as many manufacturers have a minimum backspace requirement.

Just go all in and consider the good deal as a down payment savings for the cost of your lift. ;)

Welcome to the obsession OlllllllO

looks like you got your answers. I started down the stock with 37s mind set, now I have a Rusty’s advanced 2” lift, Yeti adjustable trackbars, and Rustys Aluminum HD steering. Good luck!
