Gladiator was finally made running again in Early May; Failure occurred in late October. Everything was covered under warranty. The experience was horrible and gave me a ton of grief. I sold to Carmax for 35k, which was more than I paid for it, shortly after getting it back.

6 months? They should have bought it back from you long before that.
That's really a sad situation for sure.

I had a lot going on so didn't post it on here, but I had my transmission replaced last December at around 10k miles. It wasn't catastrophic like this one. Second gear just slowly started popping out of gear more and more often on downshifts and later upshifts as well. At first I thought I was doing something wrong, like just not pulling it all the way into gear, but as it got worse I realized something was wrong mechanically.

I contacted a local Jeep Stealership and got it in. It took a couple weeks, but the experience was good. They said the clutch looked fine and dropped in a new transmission under warranty. No problems since. Hopefully just a fluke manufacturing defect in my case.
