Hope they have an update on this software soon.

Selling dealer did the recalls before I bought it. Had the Service Transmission warning the day before I was going to fly in to pick it up. They couldn’t figure it out and called Jeep. They had them reset some stuff and claimed it was fixed. Picked it up, made it 40 minutes down the road and decided to just go for it and head home.

My local dealer was able to get me in the next day, said they‘d seen it before, and reset the clutch EEPROM. 1k miles later and no issues.

Good luck. I had the reset done and then it threw the trans service light again within 500-600miles I think. No codes.
im sure it needs the eeprom reset.

I’m waiting on JScan update so I can do this myself(should be any minute now). Dont have the time or ability to drive to dealer and have a reset. I’m hopeful Jeep will come up with an update soon to fix this issue.

In my case, still have stock tires and gearing. My update, Jeep customer retention offered me financial compensation. I said, it had better equal the amount of the truck. It's seriously an insult. It's like saying, hey I know you already bought this jeep. You cant drive it in the rain, but we'll give you some money back.

Next week Jeep is opening up a star case. I'm assuming they are going to mention clutch replacement. I'm going to offer to pay the delta from OEM clutch to ACT and see how that goes.

JScan update is out!
I just reset mine and service transmission light gone. FYI ?

Awesome Birds - I'm going to order the JScan today. I dropped the truck off this morning so Jeep Customer Retention can open a STAR case. I did tell the service adviser that, if you're doing a clutch replacement, I would like to use the aftermarket clutch.

I've been asked a bunch of questions: how deep was the sand, how fast was I going, what was the rpm, what gear, etc. I also sent them the picture below, so they see I'm not in the - well, the Mojave desert. They've had it for over a week, I figured I would give a call tomorrow. If it's just sitting, I need it next week to move my daughter out of college. We've figured out it doesn't happen in 2wd or on the road, so...

How's your new clutch treating you?

The new clutch I like it a lot and it’s got about 400-500 miles so feel like it’s about broken in.
My service light pretty much comes on daily taking off from a stop seems to be the primary time it does it. Some times 1 launch and sometimes 25 launches from a stop lol (with 0 throttle input).
Luckily it doesn’t go into limp mode just the light. So I reset it when I feel like it.

Was hoping they had come up with something on yours before I take mine in. On a JL forum a guy had an issue with tire size even using a programmer and says dealer changed tire size now he is good. Waiting on his update to lol.(I know yours is factory tires/gears)

also now that I can reset it really trying to figure out what driver I put causes it to activate.

Update - I spoke to the dealer today. The STAR team said basically, how can we fix a problem when it's not showing there's a problem. The dealer sent them a message this morning saying that the car needs to be on a beach 400 miles away for the problem to display, but obviously there's something still wrong with it. Dealer said they will give me an update Friday. My wife has pretty much said to ask for a buyback.

I did ask the dealer, doesn't Stellantis read the forums? This is going to end up in a class action lawsuit at some point if they don't take care of it.

Purchase the adapter and Bluetooth scanner from Amazon and then you down load the app JScan and it’s $20 for the license for your vin.

Thanks folks. Latest update, the dealer says that STAR is telling them the Jeep is operating in spec. So there's nothing they can do. I have a $50,000 truck that is "desert rated", but performs normally by failing everytime I drive in sand. So frustrating.

I left a message with my rep. We shall see what he says. But I've also got something coming up where I'm going to tow a 2,500 pound trailer. I can see the truck failing at that as well.

This is like buying a boat. It has a hole in it and keeps sinking. So you take it back to the boat dealer. They say, yeah, but it's not in the water so we can't figure out what's wrong with it.

It's only going to turn the light on when I'm in the sand. So that's going to be in June when I'm in OBX. So then what? I'll have the same issues. I'm thinking I'll bring my 2016 Wrangler instead. I bought the Mojave to replace it on the beach, but the wrangler hasn't let me down.

yeah feel your pain got the Mojave to replace my TJ on the beach…..
