After 22.6k mi (barely been 6 months of owning as I bought it in June with 9mi) I'm sad to say my glady has finally shat itself. Spent an hour last night stuck in Carlsbad in 21°F weather at 2:30am trying to figure out what the problem was. Check engine light came on saying "Service Transmission" no gear would engage in the truck besides neutral. Finally decided on just disconnecting the terminals of the battery and hopefully that would be enough for my driving gear to engage and get to work in Lovington, NM by 6:30. Thankfully it was enough for me to get to work and then the truck broke down again in the parking lot at work. Had to disconnect the battery again just to be able to get it to start and get to the dealer this morning. Dropped it off and went right back to work. Waiting to hear back from the dealer right now as they told me to leave the jeep there for "Safety Concerns" which I get. Here is what the reader had read. Anyone know what these codes pertain to specifically?

Nobody replied to this at all. My truck was just towed to the dealer for the same thing. Beyond pissed at the moment cause they said it would be 2 weeks before they even look at it.
Has anyone else experienced this?? It will start but die as soon as you take your foot off the brake. It will not turn off. Just go to ACC with all electronics running.

Wasn’t there some type of issue people were talking about where the transmission wire gets pinched. That might be the issue

Thanks, I will start searching and see if I can dig anything up. I stopped by the dealer yesterday and my truck hasn’t moved. Talked to the service manager and now they are saying it will be next week before they get to my truck.

Got a phone call late yesterday afternoon. They told me they found a rock wedged somewhere on the transmission. They said I can pick it up today after the charge the batteries. Hard to imagine all of that being caused by a rock. They put in the cup holder for me.

You're not the first to have a rock stuck somewhere on the drivetrain.

Someone posted a picture of one just a few days ago. Maybe we need a rat wire TSB.
