Probably a pending P0456 or P0457 code for a small EVAP leak detected. Most newer vehicle will flash the check gas cap message for the first time it sees the code pending and then post the hard CEL with the same code as actually posting on successive drive cycles if the small leak continues.

Interesting. Maybe you have the updated PCM program already on yours being that the date is so close to the cut off? Who knows. Of course, I received no notification of the Z37 update until after I had it reprogrammed. Go figure! I found 3 "pending" codes for misfires, and a shifter CAN bus code (unrelated) so I need to chat with a dealer anyway and see if my VIN is on the FCA list.
Apparently not as I've not been notified.
The CEL was for the transmission code.
But there is a history of misfires, and things that are not yet explained like the pending codes for misfires.

One more thing, use a slow drip charger to reconditioned your factory batteries. Most of these vehicles sat for months before arrival to stealership.
