Does anyone know what the tow rating on the 80th Anniversary Edition is? Can it be had with the max tow?

The 80th anniversary edition could be had with max tow. But you can't get a new 80th at all now, so you'll have to peruse the used market for one with that option. It was essentially a sport S with some extra goodies. You could get it with the diesel too.

@NachoRuby - The Max Tow did not show being available on the 80th Anniversary in the Jeep Order Guide I cited in the prior post. Also, the the 80th came with 18" wheels which none of the Max Tow vehicles had. I am by no means an expert, just going by the guide and of course those were subject to change.

You could be right. I was going off a cnet article, and a [Banned Site] article. When in doubt, the order guide is king. If op is looking for a new jeep, it doesn't matter now anyway, because that was a one year package.

Most what I can find either says 4 or 4500 for the 80th. But then I have seen if you have the tow package (not max tow) that you can be doing 6k.
