a/c pressure switch- schrader or no?

Can the AC pressure switch be removed without opening up the refrigerant system? I’m familiar with older systems that utilize a Schrader valve between the pressure switch and the refrigerant line in order to maintain pressure when changing the switch, but I can’t find any information on whether this system is designed that way. Thanks!
