AC Drain Line Extension

Has anyone Extended the AC Drain Line so that it does not drip on transmission. Appears to drip right on some electrical connections. I know that these same connectors get wet when raining, but this constant moisture from AC is probably not a great thing.

Yup. I did mine.

It was a real PITA to do because of the limited space, and it took a bit of trial & error to get the hose to drain where I wanted it to.

I used a short piece of silicone hose to a 90-degree elbow to a longer piece of hose. I then used a bracket to keep the end of the hose where I wanted it so that it doesn't drip onto the exhaust.

I cut the end of the hose so the opening faces the rear of the vehicle. I wanted to make sure that nothing would get forced into the hose when driving down the road.

Thanks for your detailed reply. I'm going to try to do same or similar since I don't like it dripping on all those electronic connectors.
