Adaptive Cruise Control Sensor

Sensor telling me that are car is next to me will not turn off. I have gone in to the settings and reset the safety feature still stays on after rest. Called dealer they said to bring in since my reset is doing noting.

Might be silly, but did you try unplugging the door (as if you were taking it off), starting the car, then plugging it back in? Stupider things have been known to work.
