I recently swapped my Mojave plastic rear bumper for a Rubicon take off that I got from a local Gladiator owner. However, his truck didn't come with the ParkSense option, so there are no holes in the bumper for the sensors.
I was considering just using JScan to disable the ParkSense all together, but then I realized that having the empty ParkSense button on my console is going to annoy me more than the ParkSense beeping does, so here I am...
Has anyone added holes to a steel bumper for these? If so, was it easy? Any advice/recommendations? I assume a step bit with a steady hand would be enough to get the job done?
The only thing I've read so far is that the sensors can be kind of finnicky about the angle they're facing and whatnot after installation. I just don't want to go through with this and end up worse off than I was before.
