it looks like the kind of thing you'd use to connect a tow bar for pulling with an RV. I don't have an rv but maybe that's where you'd connect it?

I really don't need one of these steel bumpers yet... but prices on the knock offs are down to $300 on ebay... While I shoud stay patient and wait of a deal on a used mopar, the price is tempting!

how were your experiences with install and fit/finish?
I cannot say enough about the fit and finish of the Chinese bumper. And, above all, after a year in the elements, I have to say that the factory powercoat is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.

(make sure you’ve had a tetanus shot before you look at the picture).

2 years in and I’m happy with the bumper. The finish has help up well on mine (GA-no salt). I tossed these plates and the tow hooks, too. Kept the hooks from my Sport S bumper.
