Those look like VERY cheap clones of Warn and Maximus D-Ring recovery points.

They're meant to bolt to the frame horns or somewhere similar to give you a place to put D-ring recovery loops.

HOWEVER, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you DO NOT USE THESE knockoff loops. They are not load tested or rated in any way, and look poorly designed as well.

These look like they're shear off under any sort of recovery situation. You are liable to kill someone if you put any sort of load on these.

Not needed for the install and I personally would not use them for the intended purpose. I will not risk my life or my Jeeps life on a critical tow/pull point to China made material.

LOL, we are all on the bandwagon of don't use them. That should tell you something.

Left them off on my JT also. They make great door stops with their weight though.

I really don't need one of these steel bumpers yet... but prices on the knock offs are down to $300 on ebay... While I shoud stay patient and wait of a deal on a used mopar, the price is tempting!

how were your experiences with install and fit/finish?

Mine fit with just a bit of fiddling. I had to take a burr to the passengers side holes to elongate them just a bit. Probably would have gone on without the work but it was tight.

As others have said, leave off those pieces. With my Rubicon skids, they didn't fit anyways.

They don't fit with a skid plate. And with my snow plow brackets and front receiver, there's no room for those OR the skid plate these days.

Fit not bad. Didn't have to do any drilling or mods on holes, I did use clip nuts instead of their supplied nuts (MOPAR factory bumper uses clip nuts on most of the internal fastener areas)

Finish - mine held up about a year and a half then with the snow and sand and salt collecting on the inside and bottom - and the fact I traded my 2020 for a 22, when I was returning my 2020 to factory for trading in, I took advantage of the bumper being off and took it all apart and had it powder coated. Now the finish is GREAT. Pretty much as good as the MOPAR bumper. With the cost of the bumper and the powder coating is was still well under a MOPAR bumper and I was never able to find a take-off anywhere around me (and no one will ship those suckers)

I agree that the bumper is well worth the savings off of genuine Mopar. But…get a better winch plate. The one that comes with the kit is shit. Thanks for all of the warnings.

My winch plate was actually really solid, probably the most HD thing about the whole bumper. Maybe different sellers use different stuff. Reading the reviews I knew I was going to see some rust and whatnot over time, so I had mine stripped and powder coated as soon as I got it. I also had to open the hole at to get them to line up. Took less than 30 seconds with a step drill bit and worked perfectly.
