I treated myself to the Undercover ArmorFlex for my '22 JT. Bought it from Amazon for the Prime points. Package arrived in pretty rough shape. The bulkhead liner was squashed together, with the circular cardboard "frame" piece totally crushed. The protective tape on the sticky side was all in tact though. All in all, install went pretty smoothly.
But it leaks. Right along each of the hinges of the folding pieces. It looks like water is getting caught toward the center of each hinge, rather than running off toward the rails. I didn't expect a bone dry solution, but this is pretty annoying for such an expensive cover.
I did notice that the rubber seals on the top of the cover (the ones running along each bed cap) are raised at each of the hinges. Maybe another side effect of the poor shipping job. I can't really see daylight out through these areas from inside the bed, but I can't think of any other point of entry for water. I took a hair dryer to these spots, but couldn't quite get them flush with the bed caps.
I assume this is not expected... is it? Amazon will apparently give me a refund. Pain in the butt to take the thing back off and box it back up (oh, I'd have to find a new box as well...)...... Would you take the money and find a better cover? Or would you somehow make do? Interested in all advice and suggestions. Cheers.
