I think those look pretty good. I'll probably jump on those when I get done with my class here in a couple weeks.

I think these are same ones on eBay:
Smoked LED JT

Agree that if they were not smoked, I may try them. Smoked may not be too bad either. I am thinking that taillights need to be red by DOT, but not sure if anyone cares about that in these days.
I bought a set last Thursday. They shipped on Friday and they arrived today. That's fricken nuts that something from China gets to me quicker than the StopTech brake rotors I ordered from the US.

I like the look of these. The quality is, umm, about what you may expect. Not OEM but ok. The come with a ballast resistor but I removed it as I have a JScan to reprogram for LED lights. Here's a pic of one of them installed in contrast to the OEM lights. I'll get a pic of them lit up later. A bit tough to get a pic of the brake and reverse lights by myself.

Were they plug and play. I'm curious because I got a company wanting to send me a pair for free to try out and review but I don't want to have to use any plugs. Also you cut resistors off and the JScan took care of the dash warning and the dash hyperflashing correct

I think they look great! Can you take a picture with them lit up? Also the picture you posted has some glare, not sure if you can post another one too. I like the look!

I had previously put some LED bulbs in the OEM tail lights. So I had already made some changes to the settings with JScan for those. I cannot confirm if these would be plug and play without the JScan. For me they were plug and play.

This angle has less glare.

Here are some pics lit up. The light looks orange in the pics. They most certainly are not orange.

I put bulbs in mine also. What setting did you use on the JScan to eliminate the turn signal out warning in the tail lights on the dash. I have the JScan and set my rears to Led but it still shows the warning on the dash and the signal inside on the dash hyperflashes but it doesn't hyperflash on the taillights which seems weird. I know there is something I'm not doing right. As far as plug and play no mean it's got the stock plug on it correct?

It does plug right into the harness with an OEM style plug. I don't remember the all of the settings I changed. I do remember struggling a bit. You do have to do a restart of everything for it to work. I remember that restart was key.

Like these posted, I also got mine in just a few days. I left the diodes on and after restart the hyper flash was gone. There were no instructions but I figured the metal pieces and tiny screws were for holding the diodes to the L shaped metal included. There was a small piece of plastic on both sides that caused a small gap between the case and the body. I fixed that but shaving it off with a sharp knife.

For those of you that have installed these, how is the output (specifically the reverse) at night compared to the stock halogens?
I love the look of the blackout, but I'm concerned the output would be worse than the already terrible stock ones.

Reverse lights aren't on a vehicle to be bright and help you see to back up they are on there as warning lights so people know you are backing up. Some may be brighter than others but not for any reason other than they are brighter.

If you want brighter lights then add some cubes back there

Yeah, I get that. But again, I'm asking how the output is compared to stock halogens. Nothing more, just how the output compares.

Never heard this before. Not sure I believe it. Why not just Have every car factory equipped with a beeper instead, it’s much more likely to get someones attention that you’re backing up then a couple typically marginal Lights especially during the day.
