The one made of fabric, and is the same material as the Premium soft top, option price $495 is Called a the ( Roll Up Tonneau Cover) even though people feel like it folds , I think it take 6 to 7 rolls (or folds) to open completely and has tie down straps to secure,
The question of the day is, is this the part they are charging $940 for if you order it separate from your build?

I think so too. The factory roll up one obviously needs some bracing throughout, I think that's what you are seeing as 6 sections.
My dealer told me the $940 is the same as the $495 factory option.
wish my dealer pre-spec JT came with one. $495 is less than $940, lol.

Wasn't available when I ordered on 5/13. So I had to chose between getting an early order in or getting the cover half price. (Which i didn't even know was a choice I was making at the time)

On the hard cover I wonder if you lock it and unlock it from the outside with a key. Wonder if that’s what I am seeing in the drivers side rear corner. Or does it get unlocked from the inside once you drop the tailgate? Does anyone know? Anyone got a better, up close picture of this area of the hard folding cover? Has anyone seen a video of this hard cover being opened? Thanks
What you’re seeing in the picture is the Mopar logo tag.

So what is the "right" way to latch it? Hopefully it's not too hard to explain.
Just put both ends in the slots and push down until both sides click. It doesn’t lock other than by friction with the tailgate.
You can also fit your hands up under each side along the bed rails and air will get in there at 75 mph down the road.
I’ll try to post some pics tomorrow.

I think this video has caused some of the confusion about the cover locking. Which cover are they showing in the video?

I really like the tonneau cover. When we tried to open in it at the ride and drive event, we couldn't open it with 2 people with it latched the right way. The problem is that you have to latch it the right way and it's a little tricky. I did get it down pat enough to show a customer once we get one in. It also matches the soft top really well
Which soft top does it match, base or premium?
