I bought this adapter, when it worked it worked well. It frequently disconnected and sometimes would not connect until I unplugged it and plugged it back in. This morning on my 30 minute drive into work it disconnected itself 6 times. I would not recommend it.

I had the original Mini. Nice and compact but gets blown around too much. The Air is the next size up and is much more stable. I think they are up to the Air2s now

Would this allow me to make changes to my JT? Like if I add adaptive cruise control and need to make it work?

Yes, this will let you make changes to the computer system, for options that can be changed. However, ACC/FCW are only available as factory installed options.

Stubby antennas are really underrated. I've seen a few posts about relocating the antenna into the windshield pillar and covering the antenna hole with a trail rated badge and I'm heavily considering it.

I got the parts to do it and havent had time yet.

It'd be cheaper just to hang a flank steak off the back bumper, and you wouldn't need binoculars. Just avoid the rangers.



If you haven't been - or others who haven't - tour the park(s) at dusk. That's when you'll have the best chance at bears and wolves. Many Glacier area in GNP is the best spot for bear spotting, as is the Going To the Sun Road. Yellowstone's Lamar Valley usually has bison and bear.

I had the original Mini and now the Air 2. The Mini 2 is an incredible value for all that it can do. Programs like Litchi can help it do even more. Many accessories, but a sun shield for your phone/tablet should rank high up there.

I just bought the DJI Mini 2 bundle from costco. Was a little cheaper than amazon. 439 including a spare battery. Arrives today so haven't used. But was at the recommendation of a few friends who have drones.

Nice. I got married in Jackson. We hit the Tetons/Yellowstone/Glacier regularly.

If you really want to make the kids miserable, come back to Glacier but reserve a room (bunks, actually) at the Granite Park Chalet. It fills up pretty much the day they start taking reservations. We've done it twice. Worth it.

I picked up the Jackery 1000 and a pair of solar panels. I'm planning on some nice overlanding trips in the hopefully near future. (for now still waiting on ARE Classic, rock sliders, and roof rack.)

looks like flymore gets you a third battery and that triple charger for 599. I like the triple charger but opted for the savings
