Hello All,

Was wondering if anyone is running this combination. I have a 21 JT Mojave, already have the lynx, and am looking to get the inner fenders. But upon looking into this it doesn't seem the fenders will work since there is no hole or bypass lane in the fend for the travel of the lynx's.

TIA

I know this isn't really an answer to your question. But I have a question similar in topic that I haven't found an answer to.

I'm considering getting some Autolynx soon. What determines if you have to cut into your inner fenders? Is it simply a matter of which stroke length Autolynx you have (8.0 or 10.5") or the shocks/lift you're running?

Did you cut into your current inner fenders?

Not sure if it matters but I'm running the stock Fox Rubicon shocks on an AEV 2" spacer lift and have heard the 8.0 stroke would be sufficient for that set up when I purchase them. I'm just wonder about any issues with them hitting the inner fenders. I prefer not to do any cutting into the fenders, even if they are the stock plastic ones.

I actually didn't have to do any adjustments to install the lynx. They are definitely dependent on lift hit, 0-2" the 8" will be what you want, for anything over 2" you will want get the 10"

Thanks. This is why I ask, if you're having slight contact with a Mojave which to my knowledge have higher fender clearance to my understanding than my Overland for example, this makes me think I may have the same issue if not more so. I have the AEV 2" spacer as well but on Rubicon shocks.

Considering you have the same spacer lift, I assume you went with the 8" stroke AutoLynx. Appreciate the helpful info but you still really didn't answer what size AutoLynx you have which is what I was asking. Again I assume it's the 8. Trying to have a basis to go on.

Really don't want to buy some and find out afterwards I'll need to cut up my fenders

Apex has a pretty clear description of what length to go for depending on your setup.

I use the 8" on my stock JTM..

I'm well aware of what their website says. I literally just posted a screen shot from their website on my previous post. So it's safe to believe I clearly seen this immediately under it. Besides the fact I've been on their website off and on for about a year debating on them after finally getting my lift to an acceptable state.

Regardless of what the website says I've been on this forum awhile and have seen numerous claims of people having to trim/cut their fenders I'm sure all while still going by the information given. I can't for sure say that all the claims I've seen have been from those with the 10.5 stroke. But still. The website only mentions possible trimming required for the 10.5 but as clearly stated a few posts ago, someone with 8.0 stroke is having rubbing on basic up travel, not to mention what amount they'd have on actual off-road setting. Besides I've personally known people with the 10.5 stroke that DID NOT need trimming. So again the info isn't clear on what determines why one would verses why some don't regardless of size.

So seems like that info is rather vague then, doesn't it? Hence the reason for my question.

Appreciate the input and I could be wrong but it appears by your wording that you assume I'm some simp who doesn't read basic instructions or research things before posting unlike others on here. So consider that before you try and one up somebody for asking legitimate questions. K, thx.

Sorry for the brief answers... putting the kids to bed and have an early day tomorrow

When I initially installed these, I static load tested them by jacking one side of the axle and letting the other side droop ... there was no contact on either side ... the results that I am showing only occur with asymmetric dynamic compression ... I will likely take a small hole saw to the AAL liners just to eliminate the occasional "clunk" ... and with these being Aluminum, I expect this to be straight forward... also for reference, my track when level is within a 1/16" (last I checked)

I would not anticipate a significant difference in the type of contact between trim levels given that the bumpstops should stop us at about the same point (honestly, I haven't actually seen a comparison between the hydro and standard bump stops though) ... the frequency of contact will be different though - depending on things like spring and shock rates (factory for both here), front end weight (e.g. I have a light winch and a mopar steel bumper), and any lift (mojave springs have approx 1 inch more than rubicon and the 2 inch spacer lift)

Well know I know what setup I need to get. AEV spacer lift is a must now. Thanks
