Looking for assistance from anyone that has installed the amp pro ap4-ch41-r2 with the uconnect 8.4. So I wired up a pair of jbl 6.5" components in the front and mix 6.5" components in the rear and a kenwood 5 channel amp in the rear (not toslink/dsp). For some reason the amp pro will not allow me to adjust the volume unless I have my gladiator started, its as though it doesnt think the amp is there...which i thought was tbw purpose of the amp pro. Then sometimes my screen will cycle on and off, I believe I wired everything up correctly, I tried it with and without the little speaker harness connected and same result. I have all dip switches in the up position. Hoping someone that has an amp pro with an 8.4 that actually works properly can help. This is driving me nuts.
