Any idea what this light is?

They are pre runner lights. I have the SAME on my truck. They look awesome since Jeep never added them in originally. I have mine wired in whenever the truck is on.

Didi you tap a fuse to do this? If so which one did you tap?

I tried to look at those but can’t quite see them without pulling off the grill. They don’t seem to come on with any of the light switches-

The grill is very easy to remove. Just gently lift the plastic anchor clips on the top, the. Gently pull the bottom forward.

Just bought my 2022 Jeep Gladiator Mojave last weekend - It’s my 1st Gladiator so I’m definitely not a pro on mods - but are these factory lights? I see little zip ties and it’s clean but not sure if factory and can’t get them to come one and I don’t see any extra auxiliary switch.

There are 4 of them - two on each side of the trail cam.

Did you buy New or Used?

Hard to tell in the picture, but there might be condensation in the light housing. If it got shorted out, could explain why they aren't working.

I used this harness I found on Evil Bay. No need to tap into any wires, plug and play.

Update:

They are wired to an auxiliary switch number 4 to be exact.

I bought the truck used. It’s a 2022 from a Mitsubishi dealership and they were clueless about the lights.

They do come on when the switch is pressed, and the lights are on and the truck has to be running.

As mentioned earlier, there is some condensation - the two lights in the middle work fine, and are totally bright. The lights on the driver side have one outer bulb out and the lights on the passenger side have two outer bulbs out.

I need to try to figure out what other mods have been done. This is the first gladiator. I’ve had so still learning my way around little bit. I wonder if I took it to a local jeep model type shop if they could put it on the left and just see if there’s anything else that’s been done…?

I view anyone with a normal width truck and pre-runner lights as visually displaying their (low) intelligence for the entire world to see. It's akin to having an angry grill, or in the truck world, the Carolina Squat.

I don’t have pre runners, but do have the amber marker lights in my two bumper-mounted KC Flex Era 4’s. They’re similar in size and I always have them on. I assume most would consider them similar. However, I think they make my Jeep look nice, so I like them. If others disagree…”Look away, I’m hideous!”

You're absolutely right. I never said anyone can't do it. I just appreciate the heads up when driving down the road and I see one of you in oncoming traffic.
