Does anyone know about any RTT sales or liquidations? Getting an RTT is one of my goals, but the choices for here in Alaska are either WAY too expensive buying in store, or something like $800 for shipping.

ATM, I can only really think about driving down to the lower 48 come summer and picking one up down there, but even that will cost me a bundle in gas costs.

For reference, I am slapping a smallish one on a iKamper Raconteur mid-height rack, to try to keep it below the roof line.

Ikamper has 20% off sale right now. https://rackattack.com/ says they ship for $295. Don't know if that includes Alaska.

Sadly, it usually does not.

What I've been able to use, successfully so far, for parts from the Lower 48 has been Carlile MyConnect.

If a purchase has free shipping within the Lower 48, then I can get it sent to Tacoma, WA. Carlile takes the weight and package dimensions and packages it on board a big barge that will then slowly makes its way to Anchorage, and I go pick it up from Carlile when it arrives.

Upside? Shipping from NY state to Alaska for my front springs was going to be nearly $300, for 17 lbs worth of springs. Using Carlile, I only had to spend $34 total. Bit of a saving.

Downside? Shipping by barge is SLOOOOOW. It took them a single day to go from NY to Tacoma. It then took 17 days from Tacoma to Anchorage.

As usual, things have pros and cons, either way you go.

Topoak has $150 off right now and ships to Alaska for $499, or to Canada for free.... so find someone you can ship to thats in Canada but on the border and take a road trip.

Their tents are reasonable in price and good quality. And their customer service is top notch.
