Anybody seen this?

Hi there, just got this in the mail yesterday. Looks legit but I don't know. It is mentioned in FAQ on JEEP.COM. I'm going to call and see what more info they give. I just don't want the truck put on the dyno and run at 7000 rpm for 100 miles. Any thoughts? Would you do it? I can live without the truck for a month as long as the loaner is decent and I think I can find something to do with the $500.

Pass! Have heard of this years ago by Chrysler Corp. Probably only going to MI or near state owners. Didn't see any notations on RPMs; One should presume that the EPA testing has the vehicle operated according to legal posted speed limits and the EPA Fuel Economy Testing criteria. I note the 5-8 weeks if selected..

It's an EPA thing that they have to do. It is voluntary. You can read more about it here. https://www.epa.gov/ve-certification/in-use-testing

Unless you really need the $500 I , personally, would tell them to pound sand. I'm not helping the govt in their effort to ban ICE vehicles.

I say hell yeah. We are from the gov-mint and want to help ya! Not a chance in hell I help them destroy more of my property. 500.00 for weeks of renting my rig and doing who knows what to it....

Man 5-8 weeks and all you get is $500? That's not even a set of shocks. If it was 2500 I'd consider it.
