Looks like a good one. I purchased a cab cover from Amazon. A second thought about a cab cover vs a full cover. The material looks good.

So, are you saying the full truck cover might be better than the cab only cover?

I'd like to hear opinions on this too. Was wondering why people pay extra for cab covers when full covers can be had on the cheap. If you're just looking for the "oops, I went out topless and now it's raining" solution, it'd rarely be used.

Quality would be one reason, but then I thought maybe it's because of its ability to strap down when topless. A regular, full cover may just become a lake as it's meant to be used with roofs on.

Really depends on your planned use; on my ND Miata I went with one of the higher end Covercraft covers and found that paying the extra $$ was worth it. I used it to keep the dang bird poop off the of the Miata, because birds hate me, as evidenced by their seeking out my vehicles to poop on.

That being said, putting a custom fit cover on a little Miata still took a decent amount of effort, I couldn't imagine it being easy on a Gladiator (especially one with a lift.) Also, unless you plan on only putting the cover on immediately after washing the vehicle, you'll run into what I did - dirt will gather under the cover and you'll end up wearing on the paint.

If you're just wanting to throw something on quickly when you've got the top off and doors off, then I'd go with one of the cab only covers...

Cab vs full cover ? When going topless and no doors it is a quick cover to carry with me. A little belly in the top of the cover however a pool noodle solves that. I could have used a full cover when we had a hail storm a couple of months ago. I had a weather warning so covered the hood with a tarp. No damage to the JT or covers. Like the cab cover but for that reason it my have been more prudent to go with a full cover.

I bought an expensive heavy duty Raincover cab cover. In hindsight for my use a cheaper lighter weight full cover would have saved me some cash. I don't use the cover a lot and it is not hard to put on but no easier than a full cover would be, especially a lighter weight cover. I only use it if it looks like rain and I am away from home with no doors or top.

I guess it depends on how often and long you intend to use the cover and leave it on.

I bought a similar one from Amazon in May.
I would suggest unless you think you’ll need the zipper get one without it. The zipper in mine came apart in the first week so I just sowed it shut. No problems there now and I don’t use it anyway.

as STACHES said, you might get a year out of it but you will be covered

Do these work with doors (and mirrors) off?
Is there a flap that covers the mirror cutouts if mirrors are off?
Do they work with tube doors with mirrors folded in?

Yes it has flap that allow the mirrors to go thru or closed. Has adjustable straps to hold it down so if you have the mirrors on can just leave a little slack on that strap. It’s more expensive but I shopped around and reading reviews figure spend the extra for a better built rain cover.

Update:
My cheap Gladiator Cover gave out this week.
it made it about 4 months but the sun here in SoCal is relentless and a couple corners are ripping. I knew it wouldn’t last too long but it’s better to let the cover take the beating than the Gladiator paint.
I’m looking at going a little better with a RedRock Trueshield for about $110 but need to check it out first because I don’t have the money for the real high dollar ones and know that they too will not last forever.
eventually I’ll be able to analyze overall cost for cheap, often replaced covers verses expensive longer lasting covers and break it down to a cost per month expenditure.
maybe. ?
