So for about 6 weeks now every time I go somewhere when I use apple carplay after about 90 seconds to about 2 minutes the sound switches to my front driver side speaker. I turn the head unit off and back on works fine till I shut the car off. I have a 2020 LE with 8 in screen. It happens with wireless car play adapter, it happens when I use wired CarPlay. It happens with my phone and my wife’s phone. Both phones are up to date. Radio is up to date. I changes speakers out over a year ago to JBL component speakers. All plug and play. Rechecked all connections nothing seems wrong there. Have a taser plugged in since purchase in 2019. Also have an 3w window switch plugged in for about 2 years. Any ideas? Thoughts? Or suggestions?

It is programmed to do that whenever the directions are speaking. Is that when it's doing it? Or is it just playing everything (music, etc.) thru one speaker?

Everything. I usually only play music. Don’t use it for directions all that much.

Close all of your apps, disconnect bluetooth, and wired phone connection. Then reconnect. I've had this happening with my JT and my Wifes Yukon. I'm convinced its an apple problem. However it happens most often when either of us are listening to Amazon music, maybe turn alexa setting off on the app...

might try that last one myself next time it comes up. Good luck.
