ARB Element fridge, odd install

Starting my ARB Element 63 fridge install, it has been sitting in the back of Jeep for a couple months now is wired to main battery and has worked fine for surf fishing needs, pack up at home run on 12volt down to beach, at night plug it into the camper on permanent site. Works for now love it, dual battery and solar some day. Bought the fridge from Hokyhandgrenade here, with the slide. Took slide apart and am mounting an angle on side of bed , and will put the slide part on angle bolted to it and have legs under the slide frame, possible ratchet strap it to the low bed tie downs. Really easily accessible from the hatch on side of RSI cap. I’ll post a couple pictures when done……Jack

Closing this up with some pictures. Put a 1”x1”x1/4” angle on side of bed with three nut sets and two bolt and washer setups. Worked out great, top of the open fridge is about at the bottom of my side window , can easily reach in and touch bottom, will be able to pull drain and wash it out easily. Three bolts hold it down on the angle, I was rethinking the Rachet strap
might not work due to the angle to the tie downs, going to try a steel cable with turnbuckles and see if any better if not two 1/4” inserts in bed might happen or might not, Northridge has the tie down kit from ARB coming today.

Oops not done, putting this in the RSI cap at the side below window, not a fridge install thing but will be nice for plugging in at garage with cord hanging over driver door mirror. ……Jack

Did the power inlet install ,should have done it sooner so much better then having cord come out half latched window. I didn’t want cords bouncing and rubbing around with 120 volts there so cut off plug and put a small plastic outlet box and cover on, it wedges in on the sill cap of the RSI cap and I used 3M heavy duty two sided tape to secure, ended up solid. Fridge has not been out of the Jeep since install. I want to get a Genesis basic tray and two batteries with DC to DC charger and solar input from perhaps a Cascadia 100 watt flat solar panel from a Toyota Land Cruiser that is basically square with no windshield washer cutouts in it on my cap roof.
Anyway install was quick I have a second outlet for something else if needed….Jack
