Archetype Racing Stirrup Step

Ive been looking at the many offerings out there to add a step while maintaining the Rubicon Rock Rails. I had it narrowed down to Ace Engineering and one other that slips my mind - both are top of the line in function and price. I then discovered Archetype Racing and saw some nice looking billet stirrups. They use special billet attachments to the existing rock rail. Pricey yes, but I don’t believe in being cheap with parts of any kind. Cheap parts equal poor fitment, function and quality - period. I then discovered they make a full cab length step called the Magnum. It’s $1695 and they do offer a 10% discount on your first purchase and free shipping. They are 1 piece billet and powder coated. They offer it for the JL and JT. I just pulled the trigger even with an 8 week lead time. The steps look amazing to me and provide both the step and side protection from parking lot idiots that I desire. Has anyone purchased these yet? I’ll absolutely post pics once I get them and mount them up. My expectations are high, but I absolutely love the look. I think it’s the best looking step out there while doubling up on protection and maintaining factory look. IF price isn’t a factor, this is a nice option. They seem to be mainly Bronco and Mustang focused as well as trailers; but in the menu they do make a stirrup and Magnum Stirrup Step for Jeeps.

Look cool, for that kind of money though I'd want actual rock rail levels of protection personally.
