Are Diesel Mounting Points For Racks Etc Different?

The Front Runner Extreme Roof Rack Kit says it can be installed on anything but a Mojave and a Diesel (presumably any trim level). Are diesels different in some way that affects attachments or is there some other variable I'm missing? I'm about to pull the trigger on a Diesel Texas Trail and I want to be sure I'm not getting into a bunch of incompatibilities. Thanks.

I know the Mojave hood uses a taller cowl, so that would make sense that it would affect the mounting points. I'm not 100% sure about the diesel.
