Are Kendas really that good??

See Kenda tires pop up quite often around here. Just wondering if they are that good or are they popular because of the price.

Also do these run on the light side. In doing a little research a 33x10.5 RT runs 46lbs. And a 285/75-17 AT/2 is 35lbs.

The 285 are p-metric. But that seems way low in comparison to other p-metrics in that size.

Happy with mine in 35x12.5r17. Fairly quiet for an E-rated tire with good traction off road (I live in OR, so no rock crawling yet). It is heavy in that size though. ~72 pounds. Can't beat the price at under $1k for 5.
