If you remove the FAD module, yes.
Some one-piece shafts do not require the removal of the FAD (it just doesn’t do anything after the ring is eliminated) and others do require the removal of the module.
RCV’s do not require the removal of the FAD. Most ujoint style shaft do.
Either way, it’s easy to electronically eliminate with JScan or a Tazer.

Note: some guys have reported slight vibration when removing the FAD with a lift kit. The additional parts free-wheeling, but, rotating at an angle is the culprit.
