Ok, so I worked at a truck accessory spot back in my college days, and knew that if I bought a topper for the JTR, Iā€™d get ARE. It took 3 months to get here, and I just put it on today. I got it carpeted inside, which you can probably see from one of the pics, matches the Bedrug Bedmat almost perfectly. There are a couple of tiny complaints I could have, but I think a lot of those were due to how backlogged ARE is, so some of the ā€œtiny detailsā€ could be better. I found out they shut down for a week because they were automating some of their manufacturing line. Anyway, Iā€™m overall very pleased with the finished product (that I just got done de-badging). If anyone is interested, hereā€™s a few pics- great color match (some of their competitors are awful at that) and the body lines are pretty much spot on. Super stoked about the amount of covered cargo space I now have with this little bed. FYI, if youā€™re ordering a topper, make sure you shop around. The guys I ordered from were as much as $1000 less than others, for the exact same product. My apologies for the FL sun glare in some of the pics. Happy Friday the 13th folks! šŸ”Ŗ

Cap looks amazing and I can only imagine how nice the carpet must on the knees!

Not to go OT, but do you remove the carpet if you need to haul certain things? ā€¦didnā€™t want to say a mesdirty load, but just did and mentioned knee padding šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ˜‚

Also, just just curious if there is a purpose built reason for the for the door hinge bridge?

Not sure what you mean by door hinge bridgeā€¦

I donā€™t remove the bed rug at all, unless Iā€™m just gonna hose it off and let it dry in the sun. Youā€™re right, nice padding for climbing in and out, and itā€™s actually made of plastic, so itā€™s super durable. But feels like carpet. This is the 3rd truck Iā€™ve had with a Bedrug.

I just realized you may be talking about the material covering the gap between the tailgate and bed- that ā€œbridgeā€ is to help keep debris from falling in between the gate and bed.

Ah, they are steps that fold down. Super helpful when washing the roof, and I used to carry kayaks too. The steps provide a nice boost.

To the OP, mine is ordered exactly like your is. Double handle on the rear. How good does it seal? Mine isn't due in till end of July. Where did you get the bed rug?

I got the Bedrug on Amazon in 2 days. Checked other places that are forum sponsors, and they told me 6+ weeks. So, I decided to pay full price and not wait.

As far as sealing goes, thatā€™s partially on the installer. Mine appears to seal up perfectly, and there is no play on either lock. It helps that the locks are adjustable from the inside.

Thatā€™s my 66 GMC short bed step side that Iā€™m in the middle of dropping a motor in.
