Arizona Gladiator Owners Thread

Hello!

I still have to go read through this thread, but I'm sure glad to have found it.

I'm new to Jeeps.
Picked up my 22 Mojave in February.
Her name is Sandy, and Gobi paint of course. :p

We did Back way to Crown King last weekend (downhill), and I'm pretty impressed with how well the stock Mojave did.
Right before the couple tricky spots down low, we hit a traffic jam and buddied up with another stock Gladiator.
I think the only difference between his truck and mine was the running boards.
They made one of the obstacles harder, ie he rubbed them in one spot.

We also went out near Superstitions a couple weeks before that.
The wife has had fun both times, so that means lots more Jeep trips in the future.

We are in Mesa, but also do a snow bird thing.
We're headed up to WA at the end of May.

Maybe we can go on a group trip somewhere before we migrate.

Looking forward to meeting other AZ Jeep folks.

Welcome! Bold move for a new Jeeper to hit Backway to Crown King. I’m gonna go up it in a couple weeks. Only difference I have is 35’s. I’ve done it many times over the years with different vehicles so it should be fun. I belong to a group on meetup.com called Azjeeperz so check it out if you like.

Ignorance is bliss. We had a fantastic time!

Some of the folks we talked to said the trail got a lot worse during those storms we had this winter.
I probably wont try that one again without a few upgrades.

I just learned about meetup and the valley gladiator group.
I'll go look up yours as well.

Picked up this Gladiator on kind of an impulse but really enjoying it so far. Got some upgrades planned of course.

Hello Brochacho! Welcome! I too, was a Toy owner prior to the Gladiator. I also had a TJ and a JK at other times. We are probably overdue for a Meet and Greet again.

Just picked up my Mojave a month ago and thought I'd check in. I'm good for a Meet and Greet or even a trail ride if others are interested. Other than adding 35's I'm still stock until I put more time in.

I like the bumper. Where did you get the orange d rings?

They're made by RhinoUSA, super stout. 80k rating, aka, frame horns will fail before they do.

I also grabbed some of their ratchet straps, also really solid quality and markedly better then the cheap crap I had before.

I've got a Rhino USA trash bag thingy

Seems like better quality than the Trasharoo and expands to fit two big black trash bags

I was thinking that maybe we should put a one night boondock campout together up North. Any interest? I also got the boy and I into 1/24 scale Axial crawlers. I have a Gladiator I am working on making into a mini version of my rig. These are fun as hell around camp.
