I have a Gobi mojave on order that I didn't get with leather because I wanted rubi brown (not ugly mojave grey). Katzkins will be making it into this vehicle at some point, so please don't forget to post pictures because my mind's telling me no, but my body is telling me yes.
Thank you so much for remember to post! Gotta say though that Rubicon brown doesn't look like the color it appears to be on Jeep's website at all. On the website it looks like a darkened natural leather color (which when paired with the name dark saddle really gives the impression it's a natural brown). The pictures you are showing me look decidedly more like a light caramel brown.
I agree with you on the color of the JT Brown Leather interior. I was expecting it to be what was in my last Grand Cherokee (a much darker brown). In the end, I am still happy I went with the brown interior vs the black.
I agree with your sentiment, it's a question of your position vs mine. You have the factory leather already. I wouldn't replace your leather either. But since I'm ordering a mojave where brown wasn't a choice at all, i ordered cloth seats so I could add brown leather in myself. And if your GC was the same leather interior color as my FIL's (summit with dark sienna brown), that's the goal when I pick a color from Katzkin.
