Audio Screen On Instrument Cluster Not Displaying

Does anyone else have this issue where they're audio menu on the instrument cluster doesn't display the song or artist it's just blank. On my wife's 2018 grand Cherokee it displays all of this just fine maybe I am missing a menu option.

Does the station in question actually broadcast RDS information? Not all do. RDS could also be down.

Have you tried other known stations?

It only does that on XM stations. On my wife's, it has no issues with XM.

XM works fine too in mine. I noticed listening to AM/FM radio there is no information for ANY station, so either RSD is down in many places, or the Gladiator isn't picking it up.

I'm in my SS Camaro today and it displays RSD and I don't remember it having issues (though I don't pay much attention), so I'll look and see what it's showing in comparison in my area.

RDS, Radio Data System, is an FM radio feature. There was a similar system proposed for AM, but I don’t know if it was ever implemented.

I guess I just write AM/FM out of habit. I have never listened to AM radio in my life - so we'll assume from here onward I am talking about FM only

Does the info show on the radio main screen?

Once again, have you tried another station even if it is a FM one that broadcasts an RDS signal does it show up on the cluster?
