My 24 rubicon shifts spots on. 10,000 miles on it and I’m averaging about 20 mpgs on my daily commute. The only time mine sees anything above 3.5k or 4K RPM is when I’m intentionally heavy on the gas pedal. Even then, if I let it get to 5000 or 6000 RPM, it doesn’t stay there for very long at all. Normal driving, it’s super smooth and rarely gets above 3500 RPM. I’m in Tennessee, we have hills everywhere, I’ve never experienced anything like what was described. Seems like it needs to go to the dealer.

Thread revival…..😳

My 2024 Mojave has about 7,000 miles, sits in the garage mostly during the week and gets run around on weekends.

Yup…Mine holds gears also. I only really notice it while going uphill and sometimes the rpm’s are that high, that I feather the throttle down to force it to shift. I know these engines are screamers…. but no wonder the gas mileage isn’t as good as it could be.

It’s always surprised me why there isn’t a ’Tow/Haul’ mode……
These things shift like they’re in Tow/Haul mode (compared to other vehicles I’ve had).

Has anyone actually taken this complaint to the dealership and they did something (computer program update?) that actually fixed it?
Seems this is normal for the Penny…..

I have a 24 JLR and a 24 JTM. Both shift in a similar manner and hold a lower gear longer. 16MPG average.
