So I purchased the Mopar Aux Switches through Quadratec and have everything into the kickpanel. But I can't for the life of me get the orange #13 pin removed from the factory plug. I felt like I was destroying the plug. In an effort to calm down I paused the install from there and put everything back together and no issues. Basically the install is half complete. Any tips on removing the orange pin/wire? Do they make a special tool? Can I cut it further back and then solder the rest of the install?

My other option is to take it to the dealer and have them complete the rest but I imagine that's gonna hurt my wallet.

Thoughts? Thanks!

When I did mine it was difficult. I finally got it but after the install I’d get random error codes for my ESS system.
found out from the dealer that I must have spread that #13 so the connection was loose causing the error codes.
It didn’t take much for the technician to fix. I would guess if you had everything ready for the dealership they would treat you right. Depending on the dealership. Just bring the instructions with you.
Are you going to have them flash it so it works or did you get a Tazer Mini?
The dealership where I’m from even flashed it for free for me. I have the Tazer and it’s awesome!

I do have the Tazer...which I guess I need to Unmarry and remove prior to taking it to the dealer. I think I'm leaning taking it after hearing about these ESS code issues. Thanks
