No, the backlit button lights will not work until it's flashed. But also double check all 5 fuses (especially the one near the battery) before taking it in.
Thank you for the advice !! Confused a bit where are the other four fuses? the one by the battery is fine. Duh sorry for the stupid question, Gonna blame it on a brain freeze! Figured it out , Thanks again for the help

The other 4 are the ones for each of the buttons' circuits, they are on the harness portion that runs overtop of the engine. The fifth one is the one that people sometimes miss near the battery, I believe that one is for the power to the switch unit.

It might be cheaper to just buy JSCAN with a license along with the cable and bluetooth adapter to activate them yourself than going to the dealer. Then you can also use JSCAN for other things in the future if need be.

The one downside is if the dealer flashes any updates you will have to add the aux switches again. When I had the steering TSB done they flashed the powertrain update and I didn't realize for about a week that my aux switches had disappeared. A quick JSCAN activation and they were back.

100% agree to go with the jscan or tazer IF you don't mind possibly causing warranty issues for yourself if something goes wrong, no matter how unlikely that chance may be. I'm more hesitant than most when it comes to doing anything that could at all interfere with warranty coverage on a $40k+ vehicle, so I'll gladly pay $70 to have them do it and have peace of mind. Once warranty runs out, I'll then go tazer route.

If that’s the case that the dealership flash eliminates the Aux flash couldn’t you tell them prior to the flash that they need to make sure the Aux switches are still present on your settings screen since you paid for that previously, and in the event that happens would you have to reprogram your light settings each time that happens ?

You could ask them to add the aux button option while they're in there messing with any future flashes, but they would know that you've never had them add it before since I believe they log it or change a setting on their end that causes the option to get added during the flash process.
