Badlands ZXR9500 drum capacity

I'm thinking of picking up a Badlands ZXR9500 winch when the next coupon comes out, but would like to switch it to synthetic rope and Hause fairlead. According to the website, it comes with a 65' 3/8" wire cable. Does anyone know what the capacity would be for.3/8” synthetic? All I can seem to find for 3/8” synthetic is much longer than 65'.

That's because your supposed to cut to length needed. I have a ZXR12000 and it has a 97ft synthetic cable that was originally 120ft. (i broke it). Also I've been getting my cable replacements from Vevor. Quality cable in any size, color, and length. fair price too. You could probably cram 85ft on yours.

Thanks. I've never messed with it before so I wasn't sure. I may just go with the Stegodon 9500 on Amazon which already has synthetic and wireless remote.

That'll work just fine. Just make sure you practice using it safely. I prefer HB cus their stores are everywhere so its easy to get a free replacement if i ever need to. My ZXR12 came with a steel cable. I swapped to my old synthetic for performance and weight savings. Its quite easy to do. 15 min YT job.

Yeah, there's a Harbor Freight less than 3 minutes from my house.

You can easily fit 100' of synthetic on the Badlands 9K winch. Yup, I have done it.
