Banks Idash install

Pulled off/open the bottom portion and then 2 screws and pull off the radio surround, then 4 screws holding the radio in. Drilled a hole for the banks OBD2 cable and fished the wire up to it. Right now it’s just held in place with the double sided sticky that it came with however I am getting two small screws today to finish the mount. Zip tied the excess under the dash above drivers foot area.

Still using this setup? Can you clear DTCs with the Banks idash? Any issues? Getting ready to add idash to my JTRD as I want to be able to monitor EGTs and DPF regens.

Yes, you can read and clear DTC’s as well as the accessory gauges you mentioned + a lot of others.

I would recommend a less intrusive mounting place though, they sell an A pillar mount now that is much less permanent.

Yeah Looks like I will grab the Banks Pillar mount as it still will allow the use of the visor. the other decent a pillar pod= Aeroforce gets in the way of the visor. I'm getting ready to order my idash gauge...... 988 miles on it as of today.
