Anyone been to this festival and/or planning to go this year (June 7-9, Butler, PA)?
http://www.bantamjeepfestival.com/

I'm assuming there will be Gladiators showing up in actual owner's hands by then and that Jeep will surely be showing it off. Been thinking about making the trek for a few years but this year could be special to get some up close and personal time with the Gladiator hopefully.

If you have been did you camp? We pull a travel trailer with our Grand and wondering if they handle RV types showing up or just tenting? Reservations for camping open on the 2nd I think

Advice and insight from experience appreciated!!

TIA

Great show, Ive been. I am one of the founders of Jeep Beach in Daytona. They kind of modeled what we did and have turned it into a really sucessful show. Im happy for them and wouldnt mind going back myself. You cant go wrong by going.

Been there a few times. Gets bigger every year. The camp ground is better than the fairgrounds. You get a lot of western PA / Ohio folks there.

It's an actual campground, there are RV hookups and all. Reserving one is a race though, good luck. There are some other campgrounds in the area that you can stay at too.

Jeep always brings a great deal of stuff to the show. I've seen all concepts in person there through the years. As an east coast person, we only get to see the cool Jeep stuff in magazines. So the few times you can see something you've only seen in pictures in person - is always cool.

The first year it was at the campground it was too crowded. The traffic flow through the place was bad. It's improved since. I saw now that they are keeping the trails open longer in the afternoon. Previous visits had the trails closing at like 4 on Saturday. Mind you it's mid-June and the sun sets about 9 PM. Was mobbed all afternoon and couldn't get through most of the trails.

Growing pains. They're always improving. My kids are unable to go this year, so we're not making the trip this time. We enjoy it.

{{Bump}}!!! Just checking for updates and sure there are some new folks on the forum in the last few months!

Any other members bringing their new Gladiators to Bantam or going to check things out?? Say the word...if we have a few folks going we should all meet up.

No Gladiator here yet but probably later this year, will roll to Bantam in the GC pulling the camper and staying just down the road at the Mercer KOA.

I went 2-3 years ago, had a great time. Only could make it for Sunday though which was nice since everything was on sale I walked away with quite a haul. Can't make it this year :(

Always thought it fitting to pay homage to the company, people, and hometown that actually INVENTED the GP (Jeep).

https://www.hemmings.com/blog/2015/...-to-go-on-national-historic-vehicle-register/

Since they couldn't produce Jeeps in the volume needed by the US military, their consolation prize was to build the GP's trailer, the Bantam T3. And later they modified it into the T3-C for post-war sale to civilians.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeep_trailer

Sadly, or fittingly, I'll be parting ways with my little Bantam T3-C as the Gladiator will have a bed of it's own.

Has Jeep ever produced a "Bantam" edition model? Seems fitting since they made "Willys" edition models and all Willys did was acquire Jeep production rights.

I'm seriously considering this since I'm only an hour away and I do have my Gladiator now. Trying to talk the wife into it since we are new to the Jeep scene.
