Thanks for the reply. Already tried DRL dedicated and turns set to LED, no dice. I’ve also tried USA and Canada DRL mode as well as DRL set to turns. I have the base Sport fenders with only one bulb inside, upgraded to the LED switchback bulbs. I do have white light on the turns in both parking light and headlight settings but would like it for DRL if possible.
Yeah after looking at my old fenders, it looks like gladiators with the tow package (thus drls) use a completely different fender with an extended light. Kind of weird.. you should be able to set drls to the fog or turns and get some of the effect although not quite as cool.
Z Automotive/Tazer says there’s no update that will allow activation of the single bulb style for DRL. Other threads on the subject seem to have controversy as to if the wiring on the single bulb setup would even be capable of functioning as DRL without modification. I’ve resorted to just using the parking light setting which gives me the white light. I also have OEM LED headlights on order and plan to run the halos as DRLs.
Thanks for the update. What about a White/Amber combo like from headlight revolution or oracle? Says for ‘Sport’ Only..I’m attempting to convert mine as well.
My bad, I’ve got a Sport S so I think it’s different?
Base sports do not have the correct lights or physical wiring for DRLs. It has to be added(comes with the Mopar led light kit or you can run it your self if you know how)
