Bed rack

How come no one has engineered a rack that is adjustable heights and the back bar slide forward so it could work with a trifold tonneau cover. ????

There are a few out there if you do a search but most are designed by a single company, so you have to get their rack and tonneau. My Gladiator came with the mopar hard trifold and I would love a rack that works with it, maybe someone will design one some time. But til then I need the tonneau more than a rack.

Huh? There are a number of racks compatible with covers. You just need the right one. Especially if you're willing to remove a crossbar, things like BillieBars or KB Voodoo do exactly what you're describing.

i have rack tonneau combo that works pretty well.. for some you have to check indicidually if a rack will work with a specific tonneau.

Our bed racks work great with Trifold covers if you are willing to run the 24.5" T-Series racks. It is also height adjustable every 2".

I have this new mid height bed rack inbound from ROCK HARD 4X4, I saw it a month ago at a local jeep event. It's so new they don't have it on their website. their sales guy had it on his gladiator and he had the MOPAR soft tonneau.Might try reaching out to see if it will work with the hard tonneau. I think I remember him saying they designed it to work with many different types of tonneau covers.

Our 24.5" T-Series bed rack works great with the Mopar Tri-Fold, as well as most aftermarket tri-fold covers. To my knowledge, we are the only rack out there that will actually allow you to open such covers.

Very different designs, materials, and feature sets. Unless you want true modularity, stainless steel, patented uprights, and solid-cover functionality our t-series rack probably isn't a good fit. Packing all of these premium features into a rack comes at a price.

Also, I would be shocked if this rack will be $800 shipped to your door in black once they go to market with it. If so, it is far better than anything else in that price category!

That would be impressive and awesome if they can hold at that price point! Watching for sure.
