First, picked up a new launch edition, then ordered a winch, winch plate, and rails with steps. Only 40 miles will update later.

The only thing I don't like about the tri-fold covers is that in order to use the entire bed if you need to haul a large item, you have to remove the cover. I had one on my F-150 and it was kind of a pain sometimes.

I'm not sure, but the one I have is linked in post #4 in this thread and it's actually down to $147 right now.

They work fine to keep rain out; not sure on these specific ones but I had one on my gmc (gator brand). It was nice and dry in the bed.

This bed cover is actually for a Chevy Colorado, but it fits like a glove and it's $150 bucks on Amazon. Look for the "MaxMate" brand or the Tyger brand.

How many brackets did yours come with? Instructions show 6, but I only had four.

The first three times I mounted the side rails, they were too close together for the cover to latch into place. @WXman , when you said in your video it took some "coercion," it may have been an understatement, but I figured out a way that worked best for me.
I know you mentioned using some vice grips to line up the brackets, but I went with a different approach. Instead of screwing the side rails into the forward part of the cover from the beginning, I left them unscrewed and mounted the rear brackets as wide as possible first. Also, I moved the side rails as far forward as possible to reduce rear overhang.
After getting the rear brackets mounted I screwed in the side rails to the forward part of the cover. I then attached the front brackets. I didn't fully tighten any of the brackets until I had all of the rails in place and lined up correctly. I then walked around and tightened the brackets little by little until I felt the setup was tight enough.

Also, I haven't tested the cover with rain yet, but the first time I was able to latch it shut I had a beverage sitting on the cover that spilled. Nothing made it into the bed, so it's at least beer tight...
