Thank God, I hate that thing. I need to figure out how hard it is to delete it as my AUX battery is dying.

I leave the air on 3 or 4 so it doesn't engage that makes it less horrible but yet something else to fix.

Pull the trigger on a Tazer and call it a day. Does a heck of a lot more than eliminate the start/stop and totally worth it.

You do know there's a button on the dash to turn it off? Doesn't cost anything to push it after hitting the Start button.

ESS is part of the system and always active. There is no way to disable or delete it. There are multiple options to keep the engine from turning off when ESS calls for it, but that's it.

I'm hoping the ESS system goes away, and then I will buy a new Gladiator.

It's a system without any purpose for me.
