I'm seriously considering these KC Apollo's for $175 in spot. https://www.kchilites.com/6-apollo-pro-pair-pack-system.html

I have the factory LEDS, but want to the deer WAY down the back road.

Are there any other 6" round lights I should consider? (I'm old school, I don't like the square look)

Thanks for any advice or input!

If you can stretch it a bit ($350) or find a used set, the KC Slimlights have impressive stats and are much cheaper/performance than higher priced lights. I love my set and I got them used from a forum member for $225.

I run the Slimlites on mine and have been extremely pleased with them. I talked to someone at KC and they are supposedly working on a flood beam slimlite. If they every do come out with those I will probably move my spots up to the A pillar and put the floods in front of the grill.

That’s awesome news. Did the give any indication of timing until the spread slim lights are released? My kc cowl mounts were just delivered today and my current set of Slimlights are going there. I was going to do a 10” BD lightbar on a fairlead mount but I’d much rather stick with round KC lights.

They did not. They only said that it was in the works and that was last year around June.

My jeep in its natural habitat. I’m not sure how I’m liking the lights on the cowl yet. They’re pretty visible from the drivers seat. I haven’t tested them at night up there but they were great when I had them on the bumper.

I have a spare set of KC Cowl brackets if your interested in them. I was originally going to mount my Slims on the cowl but decided that I wanted to be able to fold down my windshield.

I had my Slims on my Cowl on my JK I was going to put them up there on my JT as well but I wanted to maintain the possibility of folding down my windshield.

I thought so too but I’ve only really moved my windshield to install and remove my sunshade. I use the lights way more than putting the windshield down. Plus the lights seem to do really well up there
