I'm curious what's going on that caused your bearing and axle to go bad? 2021? Shouldn't it be under warranty still?

You can’t go wrong with RCV for axle shafts. If you call them, they’ll discuss your use case and suggest the correct product. They’re pretty much indestructible.

There’s a known issue with the rear axle seals failing on some models, maybe this is your issue. If it’s still under warranty, have the dealer replace it with factory seals and bearings.

No idea why its going bad but the dealer most likely wont cover it since it has aftermarket gears and 37s on 20s, the tires do stick out pretty far also. Our roads are complete garbage in PA so it probably wouldnt take much to ruin a few suspension items

by the sound of it, its the actual bearing starting to fail.

i actually looked into them and the warranty only covers the shaft not the bearings unfortunately
True, but if properly maintained, the likelihood of loosing those bearings is not good. I grease them with each tire rotation. But they have needle zerk fittings, so nothing needs to come apart. Super easy.

If you're concerned that the bearings or axles are actually going bad, this soon - and you have those huge wheels, then I would be seriously considering getting different tire/wheels/suspension. Because if that is the cause, then a replacement will likely fail in another few years again also. I don't recall reading anyone actually having bearings fail, even with super heavy loaded rigs and those running the alu-cab

Larger wheels and tires that stick out farther than stock will put a tremendous load on the bearings and cause them to fail prematurely. Like others have said, consider upgrading the bearings or changing the suspension, wheels and/or tires to prevent premature wear.

i am gonna upgrade the axles . No luck finding any in stock there all saying at least 12 weeks no matter what manufacturer. hopefully they come with better bearings. Any brand preference ?
