Just picked up my Mopar Enhanced rock sliders. 44 pounds each and really great looking. Should be as tough as the factory Rubicon rails except these are also a step and should protect more and better.

Do they work OK as a step? I just ordered a pair for my JTR. It will be lifted with the Mopar 2" lift and 35s., so although my wife is 5'6", it's a reach.

I tested some out on a stock JTR when I was trying to decide whether or not to order them. They were OK, but not nearly as wide or easy to use as something designed primarily as a step. IMO, they are a good compromise if you want an OE quality slider that will work as a step. If you just want a step without any real protection, look at the plastic Overland side steps.

Thanks. I need a slider with a bit of a step, and these are OEM.

Anybody know what the torque specs are for the body mount bolts, particularly the rear ones(if different from the others) ? *The shop broke the weld on the nut when uninstalling the OEM Rubicon bars when installing my RockHard 4x4 rails.
