What is the cleanest looking way to route charging cables up to the top dash center tray? Not a fan of ripping the dash apart to route a cable up through since cables tend to need replacing and phones get swapped for models with different chargers.

Cleanest? Likely add a USB port to the tray itself.

Not exactly the same, but the idea:

The cleanest non-drill method I can think of, is to buy a LONG USB cable (10' or so). Route it along the top of the dash, down the side, then across the bottom, back to your USB port. Zip tie-long the way as needed.

If you don't want to swap it too often, run a standard USB, then get really short patch cables for your phone/device.

If you're worried about replaceability, then run an USB extension up to the top of the dash instead like @ElDirector described. Then you aren't moving that cable ever. You can just plug in whatever cable you're using to the end of the extender. You shouldn't have any problems with the extender failing if it never moves.
