Is there an easy way to route cable from the cab to the bed without going through the firewall and engine bay?
The cable RJ45 and is not rated for the temperature in the engine bay.

I run everything underneath the cab and up through one of the rubber plugs. there is a split in the carpet by the back seat so it is easy to get to the plug from the inside. I have several things run this way.

Thanks, that sounds promising. Had a look but can't see any splits in the carpet neat the back seat, do you happen to have a picture of where they are?

I ran cables thru the frame rails. Lots of places to enter/exit.

Plenty of places to penetrate the floor if you look for them. You could also just drill a new one and install a grommet.
