I think I might get the Lance mirrors. I like the two-in-one design of kixbax (sp?) and jpegz but I just realized you can't use them with tube doors, so you'd have to get a THIRD set of mirrors for your ONE jeep.

Then again, I am looking at these cowl light brackets/mounts so the Lance mirrors may not work. Or maybe a longer bolt?

I just bit the bullet and ordered the Carolina Metal Masters. After having dealt with annoying issues over the years with numerous solutions, I'm done messing around with flimsy after thoughts for mirrors.

I wouldn't put any other crap on my Jeep, so why start with the mirrors.

I've had the pleasure of seeing them in action on a buddies JL, and I KNOW these are vibrations free, quality and as good looking as anything Mopar could dream up.

They're showing a two week ship time, so fingers crossed it's sooner.

Wow, and I thought my American Outlaw mirrors were way expensive at $110. I like them though, and unlike the Carolina mirrors, they are full sized and not in the way of your head. They have a normal view (actually larger view than stock mirrors). Easy on and off. I'd recommend them.

Here they are on one of my JKs.

I went with JPeggz and like them. No wind, vibration or deflection. Foot pedal is nice too. Easy to put on and take off.

I also picked up a pair of these. By the time I added the custom foot pad, they weren’t much cheaper than the cmm ones. But I was also getting a cool foot pad. These things held firm at 80 mph. Works for me

I used these. Pretty nice for the price and easy to take on and off. https://www.quadratec.com/p/lange-originals/coyote-mirror-pair-jeep-wrangler-jl
I did notice 1 possible issue during install. The block that gets mounted to the vehicle may have to sharp of an edge and ends up touching the fender behind the cowl trim. I ended up trimming the paint protector that they send with the mirrors and putting a piece on the fender. If I had the time and wasn't lazy I would have rounded the sharp edge of the block so that there was a gap. You can see in my photos what I'm talking about. I've been happy with them overall though. They don't move, and no whistling.

It doesn't take a whole lot of tightening to get them to stay. Be gentle. They have rubber tips on the screws though so you will also be taking a few turns where they just squish. I've never had them move, but I put them on with them pushed back, like the wind would push them, and they stay there. Good on the highway, with a little vibration but usable.
