Looking for opinions....best tire that performs well both On and Off Road. Thoughts? Currently leaning towards the Goodyear Wrangler MTR’s

MTRs? They still sell those? I haven't seen a set of those in the last 8 years.

Out of the dozens of tire brands and models I've run on 4x4s, my opinion is that the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W is probably the best all around tire on the market. It's kind of funny that Jeep has begun to use that tire as OE equipment this year. If I could get those on a Sport S I wouldn't have to immediately replace the tires!

MT/R with kevlar....it's an updated tread pattern since the original mt/r the TJ rubicons came with.

To answer your question....no, you will not be happy with any aggressive tire like that if road noise or rolling resistance is a concern of yours.

I don't have experience with falken as a brand, but the goodyear duratrac has been on three of my rigs, amazing snow traction, pretty damn good in mud, great on rocks, and behaves more like an all terrain on the road. However, slightly louder than the next tire...being the bfg at ko 2. Tried and true....been around forever and for good reason. Quiet on the road, good on dirt trails, although not the best in snow and mud....but not horrible either. Hard to explain....the tighter tread voids that allow it to be quieter on the road, also will gum up quicker in the mud or snow. That being said, what do you do more often, mud and snow, or on road? Newer that has proven to be great is the nitto ridge grappler. Aggressive look, I'd say second to the bfg, but quieter than the duratrac. Good snow traction, great in mud, and as mentioned before...quiet on the road. That all being said, it really comes down to what kind of road noise you want to put up with, and what type of conditions do you see. Go from there. Good luck!

I bought a set of the Falken Wildpeaks and so far they are great on dry and wet pavement.
Will see how they do off road hopefully soon.

I'm leaning towards Milestone Patagonia M/Ts on Black Rhino wheels. I was thinking about Black Rhino Armory wheels but now I might instead get the Black Rhino beadlocks... either the Garrison or Primm.. I am contemplating the gold Primm wheels on the Red LE  Idk if it will look right so I am gonna wait for the Black Rhino website to fix their on vehicle looks for the rims lol. Idk if gold wheels would be too loud ?
