Yeah my first car stereo install was in my 94 YJ and it could not have been any easier for a 16 year old kid to do. I hate messing with new vehicles because of all the plastic clips which I seem to break
I went to two auto parts stores looking for a single lost clip yesterday. No dice. Thankfully it was just for the bezel and it went in fine without it.
The question is.......where did the clip go? I lost many from the sail panels in my last truck that just disappeared inside the door never to be seen again.
I almost had it. It came off the panel as it was being removed and dropped 10” behind the dash. I was very close with a super long needle nose, but bumped it into forever oblivion.The question is.......where did the clip go? Yep. Happens all the time. Oh well. It’s not loose without it, so it can stay behind the dash. Clearly it’s happy there. And I want it to be happy.
